Introduction to Cultivating Positive Team Communication
Program Description
This evidence-based, on-demand program introduces participants to the basics of the art, science, and application of positive communication team-building skills. Across seven short-form modules, participants will learn about the role positive communication plays in cultivating positive workplace culture, the 6 evidence-based skills of positive team communication, and the basics of feedback-loops and conflict management in veterinary teams.

Learning Objectives
The 6 core skills of positive communication for veterinary professionals.
A basic understanding of interpersonal conflict, conflict response styles, and what these concepts mean for positive leadership in veterinary organizations.
A basic understanding of how to receive feedback productively and deliver feedback effectively.
Course Format
This is an on-demand program comprised of 7 pre-recorded modules accessible via an online learning platform (Ruzuku). Each module concludes with a brief quiz students must pass to access the next module. Each video is less than 20 minutes- except one- and the entire course duration is approximately two hours. You'll have a full year to watch the videos and complete the course.
AAVSB RACE CONTINUING EDUCATION
This program is approved for 2.00 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions which recognize RACE approval.
VHMA CVPM APPROVED
This program is applicable toward the continuing education requirement for the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager(CVPM) program offered by the Veterinary Hospital Manager's Association (VHMA). (Up to 2 hours of CE credit.)
